Master Gardener Programme at NSAC

The Nova Scotia Agricultural College has initiated a Master Gardener programme co-ordinated by Prof Carol Goodwin. Based on the Master Gardener programme at Virginia Polytech University, students participate in on-line educational sections and commit to volunteer activities such as running workshops and plant clinics. Courses include sections on the Science of Gardening (soil, plant physiology, plant nutrition and plant propagation), Plant Identification, Maintaining the Garden and The Art of Gardening.

Professor Goodwin is working with FBGA members to coordinate the volunteer component of the program. More information will be forthcoming shortly.
